This is a collection of steampunk short stories and poems that are set or partially set in New Orleans The description on the back is very alluring, but it doesn t quite live up to the contents Perhaps it s a description of what steampunk is than a representation of the stories The steampunk genre is interesting Mostly, in this collection, it was about airships Lots and lots of airships I did find the reorganization of countries and alliances interesting as well Some of the stories are adventurous and engaging and some just left me confused What I found most lacking, though, was the spirit of New Orleans I wanted of her life in the stories, not just the location.
Chock full of Steampunk awesomeness
