Library Of Congress Number Darned creepy, yet I couldn't stop reading.
In this detective drama set in the 1970's two gay men, two straight men and an adolescent boy must come to terms with what being gay amounts to during an era when homosexuality was first becoming a subject of public discussion and, possibly, acceptance.
This book is really, really disturbing but it sucks you into a really uncomfortable world.
I have no idea what the author was trying to illustrate but I felt uncomfortable with it pretty much the entire book.
The author is, apparently, a specialist in adolescent medicine which makes the whole thing even creepier to me.
I only finished this book because I have a 'thing' about finishing any book I start; I don't regret the read but.
