Fid le aux livres de Cas The first thing you ll notice is the texture of the cover It feels like cloth It s beautiful My advice is to first just page through the entire book and just soak in the visual aspects of the photograhs They are a fabulous representation of textile art Then go back through again and read the details about each photograh Then delve into the text You ll notice that the how to sections like screen printing, for example, have intructions and suggestions listed There are not a bunch of photos showing each step so from that standpoint it s not an instruction manual But there s plenty of written instruction Holmes descriptions of her own creative processes and those of other artists are fascinating, well written and readable Even if you never actually do any of the art techniques, this book is a great addition to any crafting lib
